some of you people astond me.
The results from A2 have been unfolding ever since the fraccing started.
This is not a computer program that you can push a button and the result pops up in front of your face.
The results to date have all been positive.
HCSS approx 770,000scf/d with in two weeks of finishing fraccing.
Kockatea ... OIL, albeit finally 20bo/d plus gas at approx 300,000scf/d. It was the first onshore discovery of OIL in Western Australia in over 10 years ... a new field. Oil was unexpected and new equipment and regulatory approvals were required, to be able to continuing the testing and the flowback and if NWE drill a well to recover the Oil then a new permit is required.

The Caryinginnia flowed Gas and Condensate. Condensate is raw petrol and there was approx 250,000scf/d of Gas. Final figures for the flowback were unable to be reported as they couldn't get the fraccing fluid to flow back up the large well bore tube.
Hence the decision to put in the production tubing .... 2 3/8" ...
During the shutin, the pressure buildup was excellent, so the initial release was high flow .... a bit like popping a champagne cork .... lots of flowing liquid and bubbles.
As the pressure dropped the slow flow back commences and that is where we are now.
The smaller tube will flow slower than the original tube and therefore it will take longer to get results.

Barahat and their management are active in the well and their engineers understand the process that is going on and they are up beat/excited with the results todate.

For goodness sake celebrate the success of this well it is successful ... it is not a duster, determining if it will be commercial in it own right is taking longer than expected, but so far there are no results to confirm either way.
