    Thanks for that link Bob. I do like to see that the environmental issues are high on the agenda. Articles such as these also have you thinking about the future and the enormity of the iron ore miners in Australia. I tend to look at the supply and demand issues of iron ore as being very much in BHP's favour. It is obvious as you have said that the low grade higher cost miners will be the first to suffer as the price of ore declines. However as they face the chopping block the volume of ore decreases until demand again either balances or outstrips supply forcing prices to rise again despite the lower volume required. It is why BHP are good value despite the market. While the iron ore profits may dip temporarily they have the ability to absorb the fluctuations simply due to their lower cost of production and higher grade more valuable ore. Of course that is not the only reason why I hold them - the copper demand will only increase as we electrify the car manufacturing and increase the electrical supply network to support the move to sustainable energy production. In my view BHP are still a key pick in the industry despite a lot of incoming noise.
