I will tell you my thoughts on BHP reaching $100 !
It just got a LOT EASIER with bhp buying anglo for $39 pounds in a scrip deal !
Why, become bhp are buying anglo in scrip deal that would add 50 billion more shares aka $60 billion, im giving a rough estimate of 0.80 per a bhp share !
bhp + anglo = 230 + 60 = 290 market cap estimate
So to get to $100, they would need a $600+ billion market cap !
Generally speaking, mining mergers are never great, except when you are buying growth and BHP are buying growth thru copper, which is very much in demand thru ev revolution !
They are buying 4 big copper mines from anglo, so generational wealth !
BHP are going to remove anglo from the london stock exchange and so their shareholders will become part of bhp, and by taking out anglo, they will now have more pricing power over copper !
