Now that Anglo are separating the parts of the company I believe will only intensify the takeover merchants.
If Anglo cant get the stock price moving then BHP and others will be sitting on the shoulder of Anglo for the foreseeable future.
I always get the impression that once companies start down this path that the acquirer builds a mind set of failure if they do not succeed in acquiring the target. Discipline is crucial.
