I suspect they are very close to acceptance of their bid tbh. The last increase (if there is one) will be less than 5% from here & will be unanimously accepted by the board.
It seems as though there was a mood change this week inside Anglo (I'd say they got reminded they have large shareholders ready to accept a deal & who don't want to see their share price plummet because they didn't engage & their own plans carry far more risk - imo)
