You've just said that inflation is out of control, Stagflation no less! Your hard earned $$$ is essentially rendering it's worth and this pesky inflation diminishes your buying power from what it was previously. Yet seem to be a proponent of term deposits at 5% which after tax is paid is less than inflation you speak of ???
