Maybe BP and the Gulf of Mexico disaster is a good study to understand the psychology of fear and how to profit from. For the moment we have the IOP to gauge and price is not far from the recent low of 45$. On top crud oil went for a breakout to the down side yesterday. None of their products are in any decent margin so I would be hanging on on the sidelines looking for that compelling buy, "irrationality of the markets can last longer than I am solvent".
