re: rio - short (very) term Hi guys,
I think rio is reacting to the strong aussie dollar, as resources will seem more expensive to international interests. As I think the dollar will keep rising, I expect the news to get worse for rio.
The reserve bank has signalled a likely rate cut, and stated that a further cut next month is possible.This could push the dollar further in the long run.
