bhp as a partner ?

Has this board discussed the possibility of BHP as a jv partner given Wedlocks history as CEO of BHP Iron Ore ?
It does fit the bill of BHP's strategy of Long life, low cost, scaleable, large scale and upstream bulk commodity business.
It would not be a significant outlay for BHP who recently tore up $2.5bn on Ravensthorpe and who would be keen to put their foot on what is becoming a scarcer large scale project. It also gives them another African project with access to India and European customers and diversifies away from Chinese steel mill customers too.
