I agree. We might get a lift when US opens. NY gold market has opened - gold is about to break above $800. Oil spiking up. Metals are also heading higher. Were 2% down now green.
Gold certainly thrives on inflation. (dollar got wobbly knees now)
The Consumer Price Index is 5.6 percent higher last month than it was in July 2007, the sharpest annual increase since January 1991.
Much of the increase has been driven by the immense run-up in gasoline prices. But food, beverage and transportation costs are also significantly higher than they were a year ago.
The higher prices have made many workers’ wages effectively worth less.
... me thinks it has more to do with the fed printing out trillions but don't tell the fed I told you that. lol
