There is some very interesting work being done on Carbon sponges.
Let's hope we can get this development mass commercialized and mandated globally - give me a carbon sponge over an ETS or a carbon tax any day.
There may not be a need for all the ideology and social engineering and de-industrialization and stern moralizing after all. Admittedly that would take a lot of the fun & tax out of the issue for some and the raison d'etre for others. So these types will say it won't be enough. Let's see.
