Exactly.
The increase in importing copper ore into China has been going on for a while and many investors have not noticed it.
As an aside there was an article over the weekend that stated that China was suffering from grid congestion and grid ageing and this was hampering their efforts to get all of their renewable energy projects connected.
I reckon there is a massive build coming of new transmission lines in China and they will not muck about with approvals like in Western countries. Lots of transmission lines needs lots and lots of copper.
