I have been wondering if his strategy might be to get BHP to pool their resources, up the ante so if they don't come to the party, he gets Noront anyway, but if BHP do raise (as they just have) , it might leave them (BHP) in a position where they might not be able to buy out other Nickel assets in the near future...?
