Well the threat is that commodity prices go off the boil or we have a major fallout with China in which case Capital loss potentially erases any dividend gains.
But yeah after trading BHP heavily over past 9 months I'm basically now just holding it as a dividend play with (at this stage) no intention whatsoever to sell.
With a bit of luck it'll pay itself off (in dividends) within 10 years.
