hi rabbitoh ,yes i saw the survey on investor web it got more pessimistic as the dow fell .extreme feeling of doom is whats needed for the dow to find a bottom and turn .excuding the 1929 crash which every commentator apart from a few armmageddon types thinks wont happen the 8 big falls on the dow have averaged less than 40% if you take it out to the dozen biggest falls its close to 30%.we are currently around 35 % from the highs so statistics would say very near the bottom if not already there.wrongway
