Need to be mindful of the repurcussions of the unification of BHP fully back to ASX in February. Aussie Index funds are chasing stock to meet the rebalance requirements but after PLC goes, British shareholders will likely dump holdings, hence likely falls in February and volatility at least
I am heavily invested and long in BHP and anticipate off market buyback in February. May top up then on any weakness in BHP, but otherwise if you are wanting to buy BHP then wait a little til February I think. Not advice, DYOR
