I don't have a problem with franking credits. The system is a fair way to pay tax on your dividends. Posters seem to have an issue with retirees recieving a refund for franking credits which doesn't make sense. I don't want the company to pay 30% tax and then I pay my full tax rate on a reduced dividend. This seems to be the attitude of some the the posters on the forum.
