hehehhe mate this always confuses people, just use a simple rule and you will not go wrong, if you want the divvie you must buy BEFORE the EX-DIVIE date which for bhp was last friday 22nd or before that date to get the divvie...
foreget the record date it will only confuse you.. if you sell after or on the Ex-divvie date which Monday 25th, you will still get the divvie....hehehehe as clear as mud right..
