Regarding the oil and iron ore price ... I have an article from 10/10/08 By Charlie Aitken. It calculates the doomsday and Armageddon price for BHP.
using US exchange rate of 65c, Oil at 60, Copper 160, Iron Ore Lump 105 and Iron Ore Fine 75 (he had a lot more inputs) he values BHP at 28.97.
using some Armageddon prices he got 23.18.
His long term inputs were 46.87.
Interesting re-read but not sure he included what would happen if China stopped buying.
