Hey Farmer how about you divert your energies to the "outrage" crew to create a more mainstream awareness of just how big this problem is in the mining industry and the availability of a platform that would not only resolve +90% of the issue but also generate additional revenue for companies as well? Think greenie and indigenous groups, industry funds, media outlets, etc. They could play an enormous role in publicising and educating the ordinary guy and girl whilst applying additional pressure to the industry to clean up its ways. Maybe Bahay's new marketing department could spend some time on this as well!
Imagine the outrage from these avenues if they were aware of PWN's abilities and big companies like BHP preaching to us they are changing their ways, yet doing nothing to resolve the destructive outcomes of their excess brines and wastestreams to the local environment. Surely PWN could ride on the coattails of this publicity wave!
I dont believe the knowledge is up to scratch to enable the public to really pressure the big heavyweights to enact solutions to clean up the mess, hence the priority to resolve water contamination still is just not high enough. If the revenue isn't enough of a carrot then public and political pressure really has to be the next step. Industry super funds have already commenced calling out companies that are hesitant to change their ways and divesting from dirty industries. My dream outcome would be PWN becoming a movement figurehead enacted by these funds to drive both the attention of the problem and PWN's technologies and branding amongst the industry as the go to company to deliver the perfect solution.
I'm happy for you to unleash your unbridled enthusiasm to these avenues which potentially would have a much greater appeal than sending an email that will never be read by anyone at BHP. It's something every shareholder is well and truly capable of doing and i would suggest the first step would to approach your local electorates and possibly sending something to your industry fund if you're a part of one.
