If the question is to buy or not to buy, in my opinion is about recession or recession in near future or not/mild.
I may have 2 different opinions to common public perception for near timeframe. I think in near future recession probability is mild or low and soon to see higher rate rather than lower. In long future of course none knows.
I could be definitely wrong.
