quite right, a fire sale is for those companies in hopeless situations of debt and zero prospects of a recovery. There are many small and larger (eg Oz min) resource stocks in that category. Not the case with Image at all. The price retreat has been purely linked to the greater world market declines.
Seek out those stocks that will still be in existence once the world gets it self sorted out and invest in those...IMA is one.
