He said it to me in the company of 4 or 5 other large shareholders( I was at the time) after the AGM a couple of years ago. So I can tell you it is not a Myth.
Of course that is his view that he would not recommend less to shareholders, however in the event of a proposal by another Co. (BHP?) it would have to be voted upon unless someone could accumulate more tham 30% I think that is the
%age required. Correct me if I am wrong.
Whether it gets to $1 remains to be seen ,but my personal view is that it would certainly be north of 50 cents and closer to the 1$
