I don't agree with you statement as the 30 days refers to the PE period. CN has clearly stated that the PE clock has not started, therefore FAR did not have to inform COP within that time frame, all FAR had to do anytime before the deal was completed is inform COP that its rights under the JV had not been complied with so FAR would have a few options under the JV and legal action which would be
1. Appoint an arbitrator (which FAR has done)
2. Ask the Senegalese Government not to approve the deal
3. Request a court to issue an injunction to stop the sale as a breach of the JV agreement
Still have some time to go before we hear any news, but it seems all good in the land of FAR.
