This is not aimed at you but is a General Comment.
Marius Kloppers had the following to say after the AGM meeting.
“In terms of demand for our products in the current climate, I cannot stand here today and predict what demand from our customers will be over the next few months,” Kloppers said.
China’s production of steel is down 17 percent on last year, Kloppers said at the meeting. BHP has not had to reduce sales volumes of iron ore, a key ingredient in steelmaking, he said.
Marius Kloppers clearly has no idea, but not long ago was speaking of the continued demand for BHPs product. Blind Freddy knows if no one is buying cars machinery etc that the demand for Iron Ore will drop.
Ps I own no resource shares.
