Last month's announcement indicated Woodside will issue new shares that will be given to BHP shareholders in payment for the assets being acquired.
It mentioned cash adjustments, although it did not seem they would be meaningful
"The new Woodside shares will be distributed to BHP shareholders as an in-specie fully franked
dividend."
