In the briefing BHP said in 2002 the area has significant exploration upside. Even individual deposits (known as Areas A,B,D, E-F and R-NOTE:these deposits are 50 to 200 million tonnes each).....in 2002 were not as well explored as area c - which they are now mining).

Point is.....UKD area, also had not been explored in detail prior to Rhodes acquiring them in 2004.

Portman Mining has reserves of 65 million tons and a capitalisation of $950 million and MGX have 35 million tons and a cap of $350 million.
