Hi Bungy...welcome back mate.

My research shows that BHP picked up some leases in this area when they took over a company called Goldsworthy Mining a few years ago. As part of the deal, they were forced to relinquish some parts of the leases and these areas were handed back to the State where they were subsequently picked up by a private company called DFD Rhodes, who has just sold them to UKD.

From what I understand, there was quite a bit of competition when these leases came up for grabs....I think UKD had an "in" with a connection to Rhodes, that's how they acquired them.
