There seems to be two bodies of thought in regards as to whether the run is over, in regards to the resource sector.
Fat Prophets claims the resource boom is only just beginning and others agree saying that the size and therefore demand from China is large enough to keep resources charging ahead for the next 10 years. And what about India?. If you take a step back and look at what is under foot, how could resources have run their course in just 3 or 4 years - maybe wishful thinking, but I see resources moving forward in the short, medium and long term. The emerging markets are just too large for the momentum to slow anytime soon.
I believe the next big thing after resources will be the energy sector, makes sense considering the two go hand in hand. Solar, Tidal, Wind, Nuclear and whatever else is out there being researched/developed.
My 2 cents.
