If no one invested in new stock, waiting for them to prove themselves there would be no new stocks as no one would invest in them. That's why they put out a prospectus to entice people to invest in the company before any earnings.
Even if a prospectus downgraded its forecast as mentioned above, knowing it could do better is not a bad thing. As the figures in the prospectus were enough to get the investment dollars needed to get them where they are today.
Price going up could be the speculation that they will blow their initial forecasts out the water. Prices coming down recently, following the whole market? The stocks that are going up against the market trend are backed by some news.
Too young a company to rely on TA, maybe but already looking like those gaps are trying to close before the report at eom comes in.

So for me, please sell down to close the gap ready for the springboard on financial news, with the progress made from prospectus I'm confident to buy more before news. Bigger risk yes but for bigger gains or losses. I'm saying gains.
