    BHP Billiton yesterday announced it will begin
    acquiring land positions in Australia to secure a stake in
    Australia’s growing shale gas industry. “We’re going to be very studious in Australia … you’ll see us start to take land positions and you’ll see us possibly do some things,” Michael Yeager, head of petroleum at BHP, said. Page 19.
