I have followed BHP for a short time and traded options. I have had success with calls and little success with puts. (With this market PUTS are not an option) pardon the pun. By my analysis of the charts (Prefered ref material) + prev production report + expected company report on 16/2/05 I predict that BHP has the potential to hit $18.50 by EOM March. I am boosted by the strong trades in the ASX apposed to weakening trades in the FTSE and DOW. We now appear to head to some independance of overseas markets. Last night both the FTSE and DOW dropped significantly as did the ASX but we held our own locally. Just have a look at the FTSE now(8 pence down already) I have other thoughts on the Xstrata bid for WMC and other prospective entrantants to the T/O and I welcome good and bad comments re my predictions for BHP.
