If you choose to forfeit the div this year in BHP just be aware that you may not hold a position during the two day NPC meeting (5-6 March).
BHP goes ex-div 6th March so you may miss that initial pop if there's any announcement.
Since you're an FMG holder, you'll get a gain there but if you're reserving cash to wait for BHP to go ex-div, you might miss out on a 5-10% plus gain on the day.
