my point is you can find scientific research both sides of the equation arguing for or against. Then those can be either side of that arguing for nuclear or against it. Solar and batteries cannot provide baseload. You’re only really thinking in terms of your own net energy use re batteries and solar. Sure it works for households but it cannot sustain heavy industry which we are losing in droves. That’s t my issue. Nor can batteries be used for heavy industry running 24/7.

Back to BHP. Stay clear of it. We are a bulk miner or large tier 1 deposits only. For the most part lithium doesn’t fit that, so we can’t get a cost curve advantage and a mine that survives all cycles. Let alone market size is immaterial to BHPs overall size.

Go invest in pure play lithium producers if you’re the converted believer. That’s your choice. Plenty of them at all time or multi year lows. They are that low for a reason.
