If a couple of Chinese mining companies were found out to be systematically impoverishing the country by flooding unreplenishable resource over a sustained period of time to another country say Australia - causing tens of $$ billions in lost revenue (effectively directly transferring the sovereign wealth of China to enrich Australia's financial well-being), I would have thought the executive of those Chinese companies to be tried for high treason and be hauled in front of a firing squad.
