For all the hype, the share price of BHP & RIO steadfastly refused to overshoot the mining boom ... It was like long term market economics in action ... with hindsight, a warning sign for resources sector investors ... the canary in the gold mine.
So, might at some point resource companies over perform over a decade as commodity prices stabilise and creep up? Also, wouldn't low cost producers like BHP & RIO clean up the best of the higher cost producers during this period for sensible prices?
