From what I can gather this is the 2nd, possibly 3rd death at a BHP mine in the last few weeks. I had a look over annoucments to ASX and can find no record of the others so why would they announce this one. If it was mandatory I would imagine they would have been in hot water from the last incidences and hence announced this death straight away.
