Who knows whats up next. We know that BHP did pay a couple of billions to buy back Saraji mine from New Hope (NHC). With all that free cash & 450m write-off from the RIO bid who knows whats their next strategy, perhaps focus on bringing down their existing debt levels rather then add more to it.
Havent heard much from FLX either so i guess they are still keen. Worth noting is the fall in price of coal, thermal coal is down from $300 to $147, so most coal explorers are feeling the pinch. With the reporting season out of the way, not much comes out apart from any new deals that might materialise.
