I have to say that whenever I see comments such as "if the price falls to such and such I will buy X times more shares than I already have", I treat it with contempt.
Now, you may well be the exception and I am certainly not singling out you personally, but as a general rule, I find it hard to imagine, that apart from the last lottery winner, those advocating such action have already committed everything they have to that stock or index with every day's fall.
To imagine they still have a vast hoard of unused cash that they will suddenly unload at BHP 25 or 15 or 5 is unbelievable.
Tell me I'm wrong and maybe I don't understand most traders/investors.
