those spikes are just a brief illusion. Future for ALL iron ore miners is the worst in many, many years, if not the worst ever. Demand/Supply is getting worse every month and it WILL get much worse - simply there is no other option. BHP/RIO/FMG and the like in their greed and lack of imagination, and I must say - plain lack of basic education in supply / demand laws produced the worst IO malady ever - as we all witness it. So do not hope for much and if you want to stick to your IO shares then be prepared for further losses - unless you are smart to ride brief up/downs with profits...
