    Hi Earnie,

    The Bolivia story as I heard it was that they found a significant deposit of low grade oxide gold ....which usually is an indicator of a rich vein deposit nearby.
    But alas it all came to naught because the low grade oxide gold had been transported from 100 's of km away over millions of years.
    They just couldn't find the source.

    Such is mining !
