Not wanting to promote GRK on a GDY thread but I thought it an interesting move that Green Rock, even though their primary focus is on cooler rocks right next to Olympic Dam and the national grid, has taken up some tenaments out towards Geodynamics property (not sure how close but in that same high temperature granite area). They are trying to cover all bases I suppose.
One of the main advantages Green Rock claim for their "Olympic Dam" proposal is that by being within 5 k's of the national grid they can incrementally increase the size of their power plants whereas the big costs for GDY in transmission lines means that they have to go big straight away to justify the costs of constructing the transmission lines. Therefore GRK argue that they have a less risky model.
But in any case my understanding is that the amount of power generation that GDY is aiming for simply monsters anything else existing or planned for in Australia so probably no value in comparing GDY and GRK.
