He may have been misquoted - I think the Greens want to insist that renewable power is used. A better position to take would be to insist that no exemptions are granted from emissions trading. That is the danger at the moment. Olympic Dam has been exempted in the past from various environmental regulations, and quite likely would be exempted as an "export sensitive" industry under a trading scheme.
