A list of some outcomes that were not known 2-3 weeks ago and are now known:

*OPEC had its meeting and will maintain current production, no cut-this is now complete and out of the way.
*Brazil governments law suit amount quantified.
*Iron ore price fell further to lowest levels in years
*Oil price also at lowest level in years
*Copper also hit lowest levels in years
*Stock has now fallen 31% in 8 weeks (that's 3.9% every week for 8 weeks), -24% since Brazil incident and -5% in a week.
*Stop losses at $21, at $20, at $19 and those just under $18 all got cleared out and flushed many people out.
*Dividend may be cut, but there is still at least a 0.60c ff dividend coming and it is as close as February (8 weeks away) and the stock price is at a low base.
*Sentiment is extremely bearish as Siameseparrot has also indicated.
*Many technical indicators showing an oversold condition.
*Management is now feeling the heat and knows it needs to perform to keep in office.
*For a long time, stock price stayed well away from its day low of $17.81 on Friday afternoon and for the first time in a while, closed well away from the low-that was an important feature.
*The prospect of an interest rate rise in the US this month is now not so much of an uncertainty as 2-3 months ago.

As can be seen, the list is long and all now priced into the current share price. Likely that Friday's $17.93 was a good entry. A bounce is likely and is overdue.
