doesn't take much to change the supply balance. 50%+ of production is currently under water, if they all folded shop tomorrow the price would $200 a tonne as the underlying demand is still there. demand today is more than 2015 and much more than 2007. people calling for iron ore for sustained periods in the 30's when 65% of production would be unprofitable are just delusional.
