I feel like a winner!!!
All depends on your time horizon and risk level, you are obviously after quick yield which will require some luck to be successful. I've held BHP for over 30 years and have seen many ups and downs in the share price and the level of dividends. I'm very happy with my decision to hold long term as the dividends have been valuable supplement to my 9 to 5 roles. I actually sold some shares around 20 years ago to do some house renos which I thought was a good idea at the time however in hindsight I wished I just extended my loan.
