If this deal goes ahead, BHP will expand its production/rail lines greatly, they will be king and no one will be able to challenge them.

They obviously know the best way to expand is just take over the 2nd best, RIO, simple as that, would they still consider small plays like YML, i dont think they would need YML at all, i think that FMG is a more likely senario now and maybe our own, if we dont get rail access we are going no where.

In the Patterson's report they mentioned an option of trucking, how can this option be viable to truck ore about 300km to the north, surely this would cost way to much and not be a viable option
