I think you’re missing a few vital points in your argument about LNG. LNG processing is not just liquefying the gas it’s also processing the gas. Once the gas is processed, i.e. before liquefying, it can be drawn out of the production circuit and piped off to the domestic market. An example of this is the Domgas line current being installed connecting the Gorgon Foundation Project to the domestic gas market. The same thing exists with the NWS.
Now which gas goes where, that a commercial thing, it’s all about the composition of gas, input vs output during processing. Once processed all the gas is equal, homogenous, how its marketed and sold is determined by a contract.
I think if you want to know where Zola goes, then its price. Cost of processing the gas, because not all stakeholders have ownership of the processing facility like AEL does.
