It is interesting that Gillard and Brown are not happy with the same media that helped get ALP into power in 2007,
I think they also gave Gillard a pretty easy ride last year which would have helped her.
But now that they are exposing some of the problems with carbon tax, they now seem to be on their high horse condemning any media that disagree with them.
I don't agree with the phone tapping, etc and those involved should face the full force of the law, but it seems just all too convenient to try and use this to silence the media now that Gillard is no longer popular.
I wonder if the media were still behind Gillard and were as anti Abbott as some of our leftie posters if they would leave the media alone!
Is this really just a way of trying to silence the media so that problems with carbon tax can't get coverage so easily? It seems hypocritical to use the media when it suits, but try to shut them up when it doesn't suit.
