Im doing ok atm. I work as a fifo concretor on a coal mine. I keep extremely active as i find that keeps me somewhat healthy. So as much sport as possible. But i know this can last forever and i need to take care of myself better as i get older. I had twin brother with cf that passed away when we were 15, he was very sick from a young age also.
Im d508 and g551d and ive been on kalydeco for around 1.5 years now so that has helped out alot to stablize my health. Im with the prince charles hostipal in brisbane and although i dont go very often they are a very good group of nurses and docs.
Ecmo sounds like an amazing procedure, it must of been very scary for you both at the time. What does your daughter do for work? Is she on kalydeco? And which hospital does she visit?
